She hit me!

I’m sure you all have been able to glean that my older daughter (3 yrs old) is more than a handful. Mira is more like 20 handfuls and a temper that rages like a fungal infection in the Florida heat. That said, she hit me! We went to the gym, she played and made a bracelet while I mentally screamed. We had to hit the mall to pick up DH contacts and she was just good as good could be. As a reward I took the kids to McD’s. Both girls got to play for awhile then when I tried to help Mira put her shoes on she decked me one. It was so out of the blue I looked around for the culprit not realizing it was my own child. I’m wondering if I’m going to have a black eye as my eyelid has already swollen some. As soon as I realized it was her I told her she made a mistake and needs to apologize. She screamed “NO!” and I picked her up in that side carrying way where her head was pointed where I’m walking and her feet behind me. I went over and grabbed up Tessie with my free hand and proceeded to kick my way through the doors since no one could see fit to hold the door open for someone who is already obviously struggling - BASTARDS! I set Tessa down in her car seat and then folded Mira into her’s. Walked back around and buckled Tessie and Mira already had arm out of seat belt (she in a booster seat). I had to ride home with one arm in the back seat clenching Mira’s arm to make sure that she didn’t slip out of her seat belt!! AARGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH OOOOOOOOOOOO! Now she is on mandatory nap time and is wailing in the other room. I can’t believe she hit me! While exiting the restaurant I heard someone express disapproval over the scene that unfolded. I was ready to swing around and set her straight when her friend said “I’m glad she did that, her kid hit her.” So to you dear woman, whomever you are, thank you. And your darling bastard of a friend should thank you too- I was mad enough to start swinging my kids like a pair of nunchucks
