Butt-ups
My little wombling has the hiccups. Pretty standard fair for most babies to be, except my little one is sitting on my lower intestines happily hiccuping away. Thus it feels like my ass has hiccups. Do you have any idea how disconcerting it feels to have butt hiccups?

OMG, that’s exactly what I had when I was pregnant! Butt-ups. Now I have a name for it. Thanks.

It never occured to me how it might feel for a baby in the womb to be hiccuping…now I know!
Also the way you described it had me LMAO, and I SO needed that! Thanks!

I can imagine it. I remember being pregnant and a friend of mine warning me about this because she experienced it.
They’re better than hemerhoids, right?

When I was pregnant with Gabe, he got the hiccups all the time. Now, I know it’s because he was laughing in there. He gets hiccups now every time we make him laugh hard. But for me, I didn’t feel it in my butt. I felt it in my whoo-ha. Talk about weird. What would those be called?
Gina-ups? Va-cups? Hic-whoo-ha’s? The possibilities are endless.

It so freaked me out when this would happen! I also loved it when they’d stretch…felt like they were hanging onto my bottom rib and pushing their little hand out to wave at me. Yikes!

Probably not as freaked out as the person who is standing behind you in line at the bank!!
