The Boy at 24 weeks
This is Baby Boy’s face as of last week. I like to think that he is yawning and not yelling “Mother!! What the ***bleep*** are you doing to me! Stop smashing me with that f*cking wand thing, damn it!”
I go back in 3 weeks for another ultrasound. Apparently the boy is growing an entire week ahead weight wise. If there is an upside to being a high risk pregnancy, these pictures are it. You may now commence with the obligatory OOOing and AHHing.

Oooh. Ahhh. That is a very clear pic. Mine were always camera shy.
Yes, I will say getting all the pictures are a definite advantage to us high riskers. Although, I was not fond of the wand myself. The first time I had one done, there was a distinctive snap of the condom, and me thinking WTF!! Followed by the tech trying to reach all the way up into my nasal passages.

Ahhh! I’m totally jealous. Our last ultrasound sucked (the technician was a bitch) and the only picture she gave us was one where the Wee One was totally facing the other direction. No face front, no profile. Suck-y. Of course that we’ve only gotten ultrasounds and from the sounds of it that will be it. But I’m totally excited for you.

That is a great picture! I never got any as good as that with either of my kiddos.
