More Exciting Then Watching Grass Grow
Work that farmer’s tan baby! Lunge lunge! Ah what great fun to heckle The Hubster from the door way. After the Hubster spent the better part of Saturday primering and painting the ceilings I’ve been banned from wielding a paint brush or roller anywhere near said precious freshly painted ceilings.
I will admit to getting a little overly zealous with a roller and leaving a speckle or splotch or twelve on the ceiling but really. Banning me? ME? Artist extraordinaire not allowed to touch paint?
I guess I’ll get over it, especially since I get the privilege of watching paint dry.
I never knew that watching paint dry was actually an exciting spectator sport. In my home though, it’s right up there with The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.

Um, I still have a couple of photos of you from when you were painting your place in 2000. You were covered in paint. Maybe this might be some of your hubby’s reasoning…

I, too, am banned from anything paint related. Mostly, it has to do with an incident involving paint, vigorous rolling, butter fingers and a hardwood floor.
I understand, really.

sammy, in all fairness half that paint was probably rollered on me by Troy. He rollers my butt and boobs, I paint his crotch- it happens every time we paint together

Mirth, it’s a good thing we are painting BEFORE the flooring goes down, other wise we’d be in it DEEP

Yes, always a good thing. Hardwood floors do not like paint.

That’s your *husband*? I thought he was a calendar guy. He looks like he’s 20 years old.
Your blog traffic will go up immensely.
And oh yeah, nice shade of apple green.

Hmmmm farmer tans look quite similar to the trucker tans my DH sports
Painting I have never done, is that a good thing or bad I haven’t figured it out yet.

Hubby and I were walking around analyzing the yardwork projects in dire need and he says “isn’t it great to be homeowners?”
Sarcastic bastard.

Mela, i know right? almost 3 yrs
sheesh!
Sunshine, my hubby works with lawns so lawn projects are “fun” to him

I think the “this’ll only take an afternoon” yard projects are fun. The big fat major ones, not so much.
My super favorite thing is when major appliances break for no apparent reason and since you always have, oh, $1000 laying around to buy new appliances, that is always SUPER FUN!

Love the color, so fun and bright! The picture of your daughter is so cute, peeking around. I am not sure of the appeal of watching paint dry, but it is quick satisfaction to see a room a whole new color in just a few hours.
