The wedding that almost wasn’t

7 years ago (yesterday) I was all dolled up

all dolled up

The Hubster was looking damn good too

The Hubster, back when he was The Intended

Folks were hanging out in our living room, waiting for the show to begin

guests in our livingroom

but the gal we hired to hitch us never showed. The guys tried calling her, repeatedly.

Uhh, dude no one is answering

After the 67th phone call we got the sinking feeling that she had blown us off ON OUR WEDDING DAY and The Hubster started searching for someone else- no easy task on a Sunday afternoon.

Gotta find a juctice of the peace, NOW

have you tried this one yet?

Eventually, salvation arrived- lovely tiny woman named Joy. And she was a Joy; she did a phenomenal job. We stood in our dinning room, before a living room full of family and friends, and tried to ignore the phone ringing just as tears welled into our eyes and we exchanged rings.

getting married in the dinning room

well, knock my socks off! It's official

giddy

super models

awwww

swept me off my feet!

and off we go into the sunset

It’s been 7 years and I am still head over heels in love. I guess that is why I keep ended up in this situation

I am still convinced that you robbed the cradle and married a sweet little 16 or 7 year old so that you could mold him into the husband he was meant to be!

Congrats on your anniversary! And what a gorgeous belly!

The reception/ party was wonderful. I remember your dear heart’s cheeks turning purple he was blushing so hard at all the attention. But he got up and danced in front of everyone with you, regardless. You two are wonderful, and I am so glad you have each other.
