Clean Bums For Crumbs
Do you know what that is? That is 17 packs of swoon-worthy savings. I was so excited about this haul that I called 53 of my closest friends, urging them to brave the raging lightening and hail storm to snag some Extra Soft sweetness of their own. And I wanted to brag here, I really did but I was quite afraid that my burgeoning coupon obsession would bore you to tears. I was going to sit on this saving secret, silently weeping for all of you out there who were paying full price or even the SALE price but then The Parent Blogger Network gave this caged bird reason to sing with their Couponers.com blog blast so sing I shall.
If you are lucky enough to have an Albertson’s grocery store near your home then get in your car and drive there NOW.. well now as in as soon as you are done reading this. Albertson’s is having an 88 cent sale so the above packs of toilet paper are 88 cents a piece. BUT WAIT! It gets way better. In the toilet paper isle there is a Smart Source Blinkie - a blinkie is one of those machines that spits out coupons- and in that blinkie is a 50 cent off coupon

38 cent madness! Now if you are REALLY lucky, you have a Publix store right near your Albertson’s and if that is the case go to Publix first. Waltz right down the toilet paper isle of Publix and find that blinkie because at Publix that blinkie is spitting out 55 cents off coupons

33 cent super madness!!!
I went to my local Albertsons and bought 5 packs for the low low price of 38 cents and then swung by Publix for some milk. I would have purchased more but the blinkie wouldn’t spit out more then 5 coupons. I figured I would peek and see if Publix had the same blinkie so I could take those coupons back to Albertson’s and SCORE! (only better because these were for 5 more cents off) I was able to extract 6 before the machine cut me off.
The next day I returned to Albertson’s because in my giddy savings haze I neglected to buy rice (my mainstay of survival) and wine (the Hubster’s mainstay of survival). This provided a wonderful opportunity for me to indulge in my cheap toilet paper obsession. I grabbed 11 more packages of toilet paper- 6 using the 55 cents off coupon and 5 using 50 cent off coupons that I was able to wrangle out of the Albertson’s blinkie again.
All told I got (17) 4 packs of Scott’s Extra Soft toilet paper for a grand total of $6.16. The sale is good for a few more days and I may just have to make the rounds again…. it’s a sickness. But honestly, with 6 butts in the house (excluding animal bums) when do we NOT need toilet paper?

I admire your accomplishment, but if I bought that much toilet paper I’d have to move to a bigger apartment. Seriously, it wouldn’t all fit in here.
