I could use some heavy sedation right about now
You see, 3 days ago we discovered a puddle of water. It appeared mysteriously and was massive in size. For once, such a puddle was not dog piss (damn you Jethro!), but much worse. We discovered the source and it’s my POS maytag dishwasher. The door is leaking like a sieve. This is not the first or even third problem we’ve had with it.
When the Hubster pulled it out, there was a damn MOLD COLONY thriving. I swear to shit I saw mold spores jet skiing in the lake under there. Of course, I could be seeing things. My eye sight is not so reliable these days, what with the farking EYE INFECTION I’m sporting:
I took those before it got really bad. At one point my eye swelled closed. I’m pretty sure I picked this plague up at either the doctors office or the pharmacy. I’ve had to take 3 kids in to see the doc and pick up meds in the last week. That’s a hefty dose of germtastic exposure, especially for a borderline agoraphobic like myself.
So here I sit, a one eyed wonder, surrounded by 2 children that hack and cough, one child that spent the previous day barfing and moaning about stomach pain, one half drunk Hubster that at this precises moment is kicking the dishwasher door, and a dog that just shat upon my rug after giving The Hubster’s ear a thorough deep tonguing, wishing I could be sedated.
On the upside, I can still manage to get a few pictures of utter cuteness, even if I’m temporarily ocularly incapacitated,
Do you see that? The imp is blowing raspberries at me. Damn child making me smile even though I feel like someone is jabbing me in the eye with a flaming stick, the nerve!
If he was ANY CUTER – I would have to drive down there and love him up somthing bad!!! LOL sucks about the eye – and the dishwasher… we NO LONGER BUY MAYTAG. They suck – I have went through more washing machines than anyone I know! I know we have 7 people in the house, but come on! The last one we got lasted less than a year and we went through 2 differant parts on it within 3 months!!!!

If it makes you feel any better (which, I don’t know why my own disaster would make you feel better) we found a FLEA on our cat. So, we took him to the vet to get medicine. I looked fleas up online and discovered that we could have flea eggs all over our house right now. We’ve never had carpets, so I don’t have a vacuum I had to go out and buy a vacuum to suck possible flea babies up with and wash all the clothes, bed sheets, blankets and stuffed animals in our house. But because we now live in an apartment, we don’t have a washer and dryer… so I have to make trips to the third floor of our building with everything we own.
How does an indoor cat get fleas?

Ughhh so sorry, I have no idea why sometimes life has to be so ridiculously chaotic it’s just well… ridiculous!!!!!!! Hope your eye gets better fast and Bo is sooo cute If we are doing holding and borrowing of your baby I want a turn too!

Mold…yes, mold…I swear we have a colony of the crap hiding behind the barn wood crap on the walls of the basement. We’ve had some water issues and I bet the lying ass previous owner had her fair share, too…I guess we will find out in the Spring, when we plan to once and for all take care of that situation.
