You can now go from belly to sitting up and vice versa. You get up on all fours and rock like crazy which results in this frog like scooting verses crawling. You could give two poops about the baby sippy cup, preferring your brothers cup or even better, one of the silly little 2oz bottles left over from my brief day of pumping at the hospital.
Your eyes sparkle when you shriek joyfully and you are eating 3 solid meals a day along with nursing. You are grand master grump if even the tiniest bit hungry (just like your ol’ mama) and prunes are still your favorite fruit. You love chillin with your brother
even though he tattles on you (mama! Bo hit meh, Bo hit meh, mama!). You hang on like a baby monkey when we tote you around, which is A LOT, you’re demanding like that.
You had your first bloody nose this month
courtesy of a fantastic face plant. I know it seems like such an odd thing to document, but being born of the loins of myself (klutzy queen) and the Hubster, who as a child ran into a lots of “trees” (cough cough big brother with a bat or other beating implement) nose bleeds are going to be a fact of life.
Happy 8 months my darling little Bobo (yes we actually do call him Bobo. Levi got us started and we can’t seem to stop). I’m hoping that as you move into the mobile phase of your life, I might be able to put you down for more then a few seconds. The laundry is starting to pile up.
