it’s a solid 3 years of compacted flab, it almost looks like muscle!
You can do it!! I have that DVD. Haven’t used it in almost a year. I guess I’d best be making some resolutions of my own!
That workout is ROUGH. I did it twice! hahaha, I’ve seriously got to do something though, maybe I”ll suffer with you….
I promise to scream at you like a drill sergeant if you promise to do the same when I slack off, and, oh, I don’t know, skip the gym and eat a couple handfuls of Marcona almonds and a whoopie pie. Um, like tonight. But seriously, you’ll do great. Hopefully you’re like me and a good workout will guilt you out of eating crap.
You’re awesome, lady. But you know what you forgot to tag? Your big, brass balls! Go, you!
That DVD has brought me a LONG way!! Love it! Join the shredheads on twitter! They’ll push you in the right direction. Good luck!
I’ve been thinking of buying that DVD. Good luck!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!
Ugh! I was around 200 when I started dieting in October. I’ve lost almost 40 so far. My goal was 60 by February…so we’ll see.
I was going to post my photo in my underwear when I started, but was too embarrassed. So way to go on the bravery front. And Good Luck.
I am on this bandwagon, too! Let the shredding begin! And may I add that your blog is freakin’ hilarious? I’ve been following you on twitter al this time and never found your blog??? Thanks so much for stopping by Theta Mom, I look forward to blogging with you!
First of all, I think you are beautiful. Second of all, I think you have major guts. I won’t do workout dvds because I always feel incompetent, but when I worked at the daycare, I made my kids do kickboxing every morning, cuz it tired them out and they loved it. I was 200 lbs when I left Bean..now I’m around 150. Let me know what you think of the dvd..if it is good, maybe i’ll buy it. Love ya! ~Susan
You are brave and awesome.
PREPARE TO DIE.
(okay, but it’s worth it)
Dammit, what happened to the comment I just posted?
It didn’t come up.
Holy CRAP! You just went up 45 notches on my Scale of Bravery. I, too, am the owner of armpit-boobs, back-fat, pizza-dough belly, triple-chins, and roughly 40 extra pounds….all of it courtesy of Mountain Dew. Seriously. I’m a walking anti-soda billboard. Good luck to you!
WOOT! I love the 30 Day Shred…come join the #shredheads cult!
You might want to have your mustache taken care of, by the way. It’s a little noticeable.
Just FYI, those workouts are GREAT for building up muscle (in places you didn’t even know you HAD muscles), but they don’t burn too many calories. So if you’re looking to shed pounds in addition to just tone up, consider alternating the Shred with an elliptical workout or something. Good luck, and more power to you!
Fidge I just ordered mine and cant wait to get it. See you have to stick with it now that you are half nekkid and all! LOl I knwo you can do this. Just think in ONE month you will look smokin’ !!
You are a beautiful gal anyway. LOL at the peppermint bark underneath your workout goal

Oh, hai, you are awesome. And yes, you are going to die – well, more specifically, the parts of you that are dragging you down are going to die. That workout kicks ass! (And like, it even makes you kick your own ass, literally. Which I find hilarious and wonderful even as I’m holding up both my middles fingers while I do it.)
Rock it, baby!
You are a brave woman!! I commend you for sharing and wish you the best of luck. Let us know if you have any other tips/tricks that work for you….I’m gonna be in the same boat pretty soon!
)
I think you look great@ You have five kids! Good luck though!!!
What a wonderful and brave post! I have no doubt that soon, maybe in 30 days?, we will see a whole new you. Good luck!
I have to say…you look pretty damn good for 5 kids, one of which is still just a wittle fing.
Keep us in the loop on how you feel after your shredding workouts…that is, if you can still sit upright at the computer.
Well, you’ll have to keep us posted on how things go. I have had to put the fat burning workouts on hold for something more along the lines of prenatal yoga
DOOOOOD! You are SO brave! I hope you keep us posted! I took pictures too but I’m not as brave as you!
I’m a lurker, but I had to come out and say that you are brave for doing this! Good luck!
You are awesome! I told Tim (he’s out and about) to get the Shred for me!
I just stumbled on your blog from McMammas. I’m also a mom of 5 (ages 12 to 2, 3 boys, 1 spunky girl, then a baby boy) and am laughing as I read your blog. What a great sense of humor and spirit you have! So often I am hard on myself when I see what is left of my old body after 5 babies- about 25 extra pounds. But you put it all in a new light. I’m going to dig out my exercise DVD and give it a shot. Thanks for the inspiration and good luck with your exercise plans.
