Sunday we went out to the Lake Eola farmers market expecting the highs to reach into the 60s and the sun to break through the blanket of clouds. It was 48 and angst-y

The kids enjoyed the playground (though this sign thoroughly perplexed us in a DUH kind of way

and strolling the market- well everyone but Saffi. She just howled hysterically so instead we found ourselves circling the lake.
This guy

did not like the look of us and followed us half way around the lake, eying us suspiciously the entire time. [Us] (Because that sentence was really us heavy and there seems to be no logical way around that. Though, I guess it’s kind of like us- there are a lot of US. So many that as we wandered from booth to booth, we often spotted vendors counting us. One even shouted an offer of a bulk discount- too bad it wasn’t for the incredible locally grown hydroponic tomatoes.)

DROOL

But back to the lake, the rest of the water fowl seemed oblivious to our presence. They happily doddered about enjoying the overcast day.

I love that first picture – is that a black swan? I’d take those temps over ours – our high today is 27 and that’s the warmest we’ve been for a week!
Don’t get me started on mom’s in heels… ;o)
LOL, I’ve never seen a sign like that before. Of course here in my small town in Indiana, I’m lucky to see other moms (and children) wearing shoes at the park at all!
I miss my heels
Beautiful pictures!!
Beautiful pics. I have never seen a sign like that before. Maybe the moms around here just don’t wear heels? Lord knows I don’t, I’d kill myself!!!!
Ohhh I miss lake eola.
And I cry over not being able to go to the winter park farmers market every sat. morning.
love the farmers market, but it’s always SO crowded. wish the one in winter springs was better
