I’m a gluten free Mama to 5 kids, 13 chickens, and 1 dog. Life is crazy but fun in the Fidget household. Here at Finding Yourself Despite Yourself, you can find stories, recipes, photos, secrets, savings and mayhem.
My kids and marriage are my joy. I do my best to find the humor in our every day lives. Sometimes, the day will get the better of me but in retrospect I can often see the hilarity.
Until it became a victim of the economy, I could be found over at Capessa.com writing about parenting and pregnancy. My writing has been featured in the parenting section of Yahoo.com’s Shine community as well as at The Common Line Project. I have been nominated for several accolades including Mom Logic’s top 10 Mother of All Bloggers 2009 and Nickelodeon Parents Connect best local blog (orlando) 2009.
For those wondering about my camera- It’s a point and shoot. A Canon A540 to be more specific. I’m hoping to upgrade to a DSLR in the future.
