Dear Universe, We are ready. Ready for what? I’m not precisely sure but I have a general idea. We’re are ready for better. We’re ready for change. We’re ready to work like hell to make these things happen. What we need from you, dear Universe, is opportunity and maybe a sign or two that jumping [...] This past weekend the temperature unexpectedly shot up. Our a/c units are on the fritz so the temperature in the house rose too. Humid and sticky we all sought comfort in the sprinklers and breeze. Out there on our lawn yesterday evening was one of those glorious times when you walk around feeling like [...] She smells like strawberries. Yes, she surely does. There’s a spot on the very top of her head that once smelled like wee little baby, now it smells like ripe sweet strawberries. It’s my favorite place to rest my nose. At 5.5 months she enjoys her jump jump (the frog toy is EXCITING! and she [...] I had envisioned a joyful uplifting photo to celebrate our 9 year wedding anniversary but the weather had other ideas. Instead, I relive the moment when I realized that the woman we had hired to marry us, wasn’t going to show. Obviously, it all worked out in the end but there were some TENSE moments [...] This is an older pic of Tessa that I just adore. It’s one of her middle child stormy pouty fits.
