A LOT, which makes me one tired Mama. On the worst days, she is in my arms screaming all day and all night. I get to sleep sometime around 2am and am back up by 7 am getting The Bigs ready for school.

A LOT, which makes me one tired Mama. On the worst days, she is in my arms screaming all day and all night. I get to sleep sometime around 2am and am back up by 7 am getting The Bigs ready for school.

When the Amby bed was recalled, I saw my only hope of peace fly right out the window.

Around this time, I saw some women chatting on a parenting board about the Snuggle Me Cushion and decided to contact the company. One of the company founders, Mia, so graciously shipped one out to me for review.

The Snuggle Me Cushion is a safe spot to lay baby where she feel comfortably held as though in moms arms. The center of the cushion is unpadded and when baby is placed in the cushion, the center lowers and the sides snuggle:

I can not claim the Snuggle Me Cushion to be a colic miracle worker- Saffi still cries all.the.time. but I can tell you that this product has some great points and even though Saffi is still crying a lot, the Snuggle Me Cushion has made things easier on me.

I can now lay her in the cushion and use the bathroom by myself. Prior to the cushion, I was laying her on the changing table (ours is in the bathroom) and listening to her scream bloody murder while I took care of my business. See?

She actually enjoys lounging in it. She even sometimes falls asleep

The cushion reminds me of the various pillows and pads that they utilized in the NICU to help calm and comfort the babies. You can place a newborn (even a preemie like Saffi) in the cushion from the get go and use the cushion all the way up until baby decides it’s time to move on. The cushion was actually originally designed for a 7 month old baby!

Handy Manny is back and he’s ready for Earth Day. In this green adventure Handy Manny and his tools tackle things like solar power and turtle protection.

Handy Manny is a big hit in our home. He solves problems AND uses tools. Levi thinks he is awesome. Levi happily enjoyed the whole movie while my older girls mostly ignored it until it came to the story of the turtles.

Living in Florida we’ve had some face time with the cages they build to protect sea turtle nests and this episode did a good job of reinforcing the lessons we teach our children about turtle preservation. It’s also been quite some time since we’ve been out to the beach so this serves as a good reminder for when we hit the waves this summer.
